Sekhmet is a leonine Goddess, that is she has the body of a woman but has a lion head-dress or that of a cat. She was thought by the Egyptians to be the bringer of destruction as well as the Goddess of healing. Despite the myths of destruction, all consider her the Goddess of Regeneration and Healing and her priests were skilled in her knowledge of anatomy, surgery, herbs, metals associated with homeopathy, sonics and the vibrational healing arts at all levels of the physical and subtle bodies. We can equate the Goddess Sekhmet with other Goddesses of Destruction such as the Indian Kali, the Irish Morrigan and the Scottish Cailleach to name just a few…..however all destroy what is no longer necessary in our lives so that we can build a new strong foundation.

Helen Belot is the re-introducer and custodian of this ancient Egyptian Energy system of Sekhem. She has memories of a past life as a high priestess in the very early temples of ancient Egypt so this system was updated and introduced by her to suit the current conditions of today.
